Gregrob I've heard a few things about you tuning these cars

Mind If I PM you about getting a Tranny tuned into this computer since it had a TH400 behind it???

So its a 4bolt LT4 that ran 6.99. Any head work?

Not 100% sure if its an LT4 or not but its a 4 bolt main

But was told it was "Home Ported" heads when it ran N/A it ran 7.5 at 92 and if you read through the thread it was on a "Mild" tune from a couple people who knew the car also stepping up the converter and the gears so that should help too

Cool 4bolt is good, Just the LT4 intake is red?? What are the head casting #s. So was thet 6.99 slip on spray?

There is a picture of the motor lol no red intake don't remember the head casting numbers didn't check when I had valve cover off can tell the exhaust ports have been worked but yes the 6.99 was on the spray

UPDATE!!

Transmission is in cooler lines made the driver side header is hung not bolted up.
Transmission took no time to put back in one the other car i bought get another set of wheels to roll on i will be stealing parts and just transferring over everything to make things easier!!


question on the oil filter is there another type i can use because i know for a fact that filter is going to be a total bitch

There's a short filter. Is the oil cooler gone?

wasn't the oil cooler not on the new motors???

this is a 96 or 97 motor

Thats what I ended up with for valve train parts the patriots are on their way as well.

After that I should be good to go excited about the new tune that is on the car because my tuner looked at the tune I had and said it was REAL rich at WOT and had less timing then stock and the car it was in ran the 7.5 at 92 on this tune. So Excited to see what kind of N/A I can get out of the CC306 with Homeported heads.

Should net 13's no problem....

Hurry up so i can race you! Dont get caught up in what it ran in a diff car with a diff tranny and prob a diff weight. What did the plugs look like that were in the car?

They looked good not major signs of leanness or of being to rich in all reality. with losing my job Idk when we will be able to race and i'll have the funds to make it over to BMP

i feel your pain. good luck with the job issue, the car can wait. its not like it can leave on it's own lol.

once you get a filter on there will you pst a pic of it and the header, so i can see how much clearance you have.

It helps to have the oil wrench that cups the bottom and use a rachet with the shorter filter with those headers. They make good power

I got a short filter and the clearance is no issue at all.


Well springs Won't be here till next week patriot was on back order on a few parts for the kit so they said it should ship out today and be here some time next week.
