See of a magnet sticks to them. 304 it will usually stick a little. 321 wont

Well, maybe someone who knows more about metallurgy than me can confirm, but I have been TOLD by a reliable source (I know, not worth much) that the magnet test will work in determining 304 vs 321.

He is a well-respected diesel vendor who has sold thousands of stainless exhaust systems so he would know, but again it is second hand knowledge.

This says they're both non-magnetic, with 321 being closer to magnetic than 304, IDK.

that is the same link i found. are you sure the primaries are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8? that link its self says 1.5, although i see that that is measured typically from one side to the indention of the other side where the header bolt is. they may be, and look to be, bigger in another direction. can anyone confirm this?

Yes they are 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 (compared right next to LPP's)the headers that are in Colins pics are mine and were ordered from same seller and same price as is now( i pulled link off of bought items history). I think they advertise different to keep LPP off there butt.

hope those who get these (or any other headers) also re-use their old o2 sensors til any coatings inside the pipes have burned or recoated with exhaust carbon to save on messing up their new o2 sensors(that should be gotten when you do the install).. I'm, as my niece says, "just saying" :p

If you care to dig up my ebay header install thread, I seem to recall I did some measuring and picture taking.
