it is somewhere between 8.5 to 9.1:1 I wasn't the original builder of the motor so I am not exactly sure... I don't know if he decked the block or not. When you say how hot are you referring to the plug or the actual thermostat?

yea the thermostat what temp is it running at??

and at 8.5-9 :1 i dont se an issue at all running 87 in it......

I am still having problems with temp... right now it runs hot. I have a 160° thermostat with a 50/50 mix and a full bottle of water wetter and I am still running around 240° when the guy tuned it he said he set the fans to come on at 180° I am still trying to connect to see what the computer shows.

woah!!!! yea thats not good.....something is wrong there I wouldn't run it like that thats WAYYYY to hot....

is the thermostat opening completely???

but running correctly down under 200 i cant see an issue with running 87 at your level...

yeah the stat is fine it is the third one I've tried.

clogged radiator or something??? gotta figure out that issue asap.......maybe even the water pump is on its way out.....

new water pump as well. I need to pull the radiator and see what going on!
