Default Tuning for cruising...

I've been adjusting my idle and cruising for the last few days. I got my idle and closed TPS to open timing and such PERFECT. It feels like stock and I have a retards cam only setup so I'm pretty happy with myself.

BUTT, (and that's a big butt) I can't seem to stop the very light misfire feeling between 45 and 50ish. What have you guys done to combat this? I've lessened it but it's still prominent.

At what TPS percentage does this occur?

Are you saying this is cam surge, or somethig else

Cam surge. No actual mis, just feels like it.... tps I believe is 11% or so. I don't have my scans on me.

Lean it out in that area, make sure the timing transitions smoothly there without stair stepping.

The timing I've done, I haven't messed much with the afr because of the lack of wideband. Also, wouldn't the BLMs change my afr adjustment right back to "14.7" anyway?

It will try but I've seen results by tuning the maf table in the area that needs it.

What are your BLMs when its happening

Again I am not sure but I think they were 128/134ish. You think I should try bringing the maf down 3% or so?

I would. Just be careful about changing too few cells at once in the MAF table. PCM gets pissed

They were 128/131 BLMs on the drive home from work just now. I evened out the fueling in that area on the maf tables and also noticed how the timing tables weren't very smooth there. I'll try that first, then I'll try leaning it out a bit more. I'd love to have a stock acting car.
