How much Nitrous??
Debating on this with the build and "new" to using the nitrous.
What is the difference on the stress on a motor from using a 150 to a 200 and so on and so on?
Figured its all in the tuning to what you can use
Going to be going with the Speed Pro Forged pistons a long with a set of forged rods with a stock crank running ~ 11.5:1 compression With LE2 H/C/I package

you can spray up to as much as the stock crank will let you. Anything over a 175 shot is advised to go direct port. Progressive controllers can lessen the shock of the initial hit of nitrous, which in turn would be much less stress on the motor and bearings.
Tuning it for nitrous is completely based on what size shot you are willing to run.

A true nitrous junkie that has a good grasp on tuning can put a ton of nitrous through a motor. The guy with the stock shortblock record is spraying way beyond a 200 shot on hyper pistons, cast crank, and stock rods. I forget his screenname but he has a stock LT1 with ported heads in a white 3rd gen Trans/Am. I know that Mike Jacobs who had the nitrous record before Tony would shut the motor off going through the traps. Then he'd read the plugs and adjust the nitrous from there, looking for the timing mark and some other things like deposits on the porcelain. Way beyond beginner stuff though. There is no real answer to your question because an experienced nitrous guy can throw a ton of nitrous through a forged setup, while a novice had better stick to the jets in the kit.
