Default complete cam kit suggestions

This is my last race season with bolt ons next year i will have enough to do a complete valvetrain swap. I was set on a lt4 cam kit but after many months of studying about the kit i tryed on find something compariable in parts but better. So ive found that AI sells a kit just as complete. Is there any other complete kits out there like this or would AI be a good.

LT-4 Hot Cam Kit works great for a DD. Best bang for the buck! AI is more money but better!

I'm using the LT4 Hotcam kit in my current swap project, because its going to be a cruiser mostly. I'll send it to the track a few times and try to break off some low to mid 12's.
But for my Camaro, I'm going to go with AI or LE. Heard nothing but awesome things about either one. Give them both a call and tell them your plans for the car and they'll set you up.

I think it's funny that I want to quote your own post for you to answer your question.

Most people should replace their timing chain with how old these cars are. But that kit is more than you need for a bare bones install... you also mentioned two kits, not just one.

Calm down. You bitter old guys are all so damn argumentative.

I just asked you to provide what it doesn't include, that's all. The OP might want to know given the fact he's considering the package.

Also, you're a moron.

Um.... if you're talking about the timing set then your still wrong. A timing set doesn't HAVE to be replaced. If someone has 50k on there motor they don't really NEED to replace it.

Rhetorical question moron...... It has what you have to have. Complete doesn't mean that it has what everybody wants in it, just what you need.

hey OP forget half of the BS these guys are creating and talking about in here and go to AI......notice the two 10 second cars in here are telling you good info and where to go??

check out AI they WILL make more power than that hot cam or an off the shelf cam and they WILL work with you to get you the best bang for your buck.....I've been dealing with them for years and they are great people to deal with and they KNOW HOW TO MAKE POWER!!!.......not to mention they're cam designs allow for parts like springs and lifters to actually last......I've been running a large AI Solid Roller cam on the street in my car for two years and it drives fine......how many low 10 sec NA street cars you see around?

If you call them and talk to them they will spec you out a "kit" with everything you will need right down to the gaskets. Give em a ring......u can even tell em Mike V sent ya to em

good luck on your build hope it works out great for ya!!!
