I have nothing against AI. Never said anything negative about them in this thread.
Hell, I have two different things I'm eyeballing from them to buy.
All I was saying is it was missing a usually needed timing set. As far as anybody else's cam kit I don't think there's one that even comes close to AI's kit as far as completeness.
I'd tell the OP to buy it. Was simply saying he probably wants a timing set, so that kit isn't EVERYTHING.

im going to go with a new timing chain my motor has 190k. Depending on the condition of the lifters ill replace them too. What do you guys think of the cam i posted i would like to buy. I have to be emissions legal. Car has to get a sniffer test.

Ask them how it does on emissions, and make sure your tune is spot on.

The cam you listed is extremely close to a hotcam profile. I'm assuming it's also on a 112 LSA? It should have no problem passing a sniffer if it is tuned properly and your catalytic converter is in tact. IMO I think you'd be happier with a LPE 211/219 performance wise. Only sacrifice is no choppy idle, but you will meet or beat hp numbers with the cams you've listed with real nice low end grunt.

(long tubes, 12 bolts with 4:10's, slicks and normal bolt on items) that ran 12.2 in 90 degree heat and did it back to back all day long. then one started spraying it and ran lower 11's to a high 10's , i think. also both were stock weight cars. one was a 97 ss and the other was a green firebird, 94 i think. to me that's damn good for what it is.
