Default Oil Pump

What are you guys running?

And before someone suggests it I don't want a cheap piece of **** melling.

Clearances will be fairly tight so stock volume is fine

Im honestly considering a new GMPP pump with white relief spring?

Will be driven with an ARP hardened shaft coupled to a Heron Billet drive and Lunati Everwear gear.

Running a GMPP pump would be fine with the high pressure spring. Then spray it.

Was it the standard 4 digit Melling or the Select series 5 digit ones?

Never heard of a problem with a stock vol/psi Melling Select like the 10554.

it was a MEL-155HV one of their high volume pumps.......when i took it off the gears had some noise when i spun it by hand......too it apart and the gears looked a bit odd.......melling told me its not designed for high rpm use like i was doing with it....

would've been shitty to launch my motor because of a $40 oil pump...........

Karl Elwein uses the Titan. I got mixed results on yellowbullet from it. Most said the Moroso billet was better. FWIW
