Up and running, even works with my custom 2bar OS.
Hz reading is around 2300hz instead of 3300hz with stock style inlet.

I dont think he had a problem with a SD tune, the OP just wanted to use the LS3 maf.

I can tune both, but Id rather do a MAF setup. I can get around the 512g/s limit no problem. A 4inch inlet with the card style MAF will get me to around 850rwhp before I bump the 12,000 hz limit.

What did you end up doing? I strapped a 4" MAF to a straight tube about 4" in front of my LT1 TB, but there's just no way that's going to fit my stock ram air box without modification.

James if your referring to me I had a 4inch tube on a procharger build. Sold all of that and now I'm using a 4.5 tube with a whipple build.

You can run the 4inch tube, LS guys have basically the same airbox and they do it.
