Who has repinned your LT1 harness for 24X?

How about someone that did the "man pedal swap"?? Now I can get the harness for an M6 setup and have everything plug and play rather than having a hacked up stock harness with **** that still doesn't work correctly. So with my new harness I'll have a reverse lockout that should actually work like stock, or am I wrong here?
I'm just going to bite the bullet and get the billet cover and the harness when the time comes. Probably on my winter mods list for next year

If done right, it shouldn't be a "hacked up stock harness with **** that still doesn't work correctly." Most people don't take the time to make the wiring good, just "good enough." This is where paying a pro is a great route to go. Waaay cheaper than the new harness, will work 100% with no problems, and 95% of people would never know it wasn't OEM (only tell-tale sign in my case will be that the wiring is much less visible than the factory makes it). Heck, if you're confident with wiring, do a little reading then just spend the money you'd invest in the harness and buy the proper tools/OEM connectors and now you'll be able to do great wiring in the future too.

I think that repinning a 17 year old harness is not the way to go (IMO.) I am having EFI make me a custom harness so I can run a shift light and 4L80E. I have also removed alot from my car A/C, A.I.R./EGR, ABS, EVAP, and Heat. I am also relocating the fuse box, battery w/ power block, ALT./PS w/ fluid reservoir (Low mount), and PCM. I am also going with their Mono Blade electronic throttle body and completely hiding my bay harness. I feel this is the best way to go for me. I just don't feel comftorable with the harness now especially with some of the connectors already cracking.

Does anyone think that there would be a market for business/individual wanting to offer to repin a harness?
I have been tossing this idea around for a while, seeing I have done it before. It would be something like you provide the harness and DIY kit and then I would repin and reloom everything for something like $250-$300?

If anyone wants this done, hit me up!! I can even rewire the entire harness if you want to remove wiring harness connectors

This year we plan on bringing in at least a 1995 Camaro Z28 with T56 for the conversion. It will be a DIY harness rework and will be documented. It's my brother-in-law's car and his wife told him it has to leave the back yard. It's going to be a low budget 24x conversion.
There is also a 1997 Trans Am in town interested in the 24x conversion, but with all of the work he has already done to his harness, I'm not sure it's the best candidate for documentation.
I want to bring in a 1996-1997 4L60E F-Body car for a Gen IV LS electronics solution (that's 58x) to include tap/paddle shifting, but that's a different ECM (and separate TCM) alltogether.

- bringing in the minimum quantities of connectors specific to the F-body harness (1,000's of pieces)
- bringing in the firewall grommet (minimum 600 pieces)
- bringing in the F-body alternator seal (minimum 8,000 pieces)
- about 6 additional hours labor
Argue all you want about the price variances of having someone rework used harnesses, but know what you are talking about before
