An alignment issue will not cause a vibration.

Do you still have the old set of wheels? If so put them on and drive it.

Here are some causes....

Flat spotted tire
Tires out of balance
Driveshaft IE balance or u joints
Rear trans output shaft bushing
Trans input shaft pilot bearing

Just a few.

Im with the other guy, street racing is retarded. I wont do it. Never have Never will. Only time ill open something up is at the track or if im the only person who can get hurt. Ive done stupid stuff, but chasing a lambo in a lt1 is pretty damn stupid lol. did you really think youd win?

So you're biased. Basically it comes down to this- Speeding, running a red light, failing to yield, accidentally or blatantly cutting someone off, being a dickfag and texting while driving all can be just as fatal as excessive speed. Inattentiveness is what kills. Not speed. I'd rather get passed by someone going well over the speed limit than be anywhere in the vicinity of some **** sucker playing with their phone. Your name calling makes you look like nothing more than a hypocrite. Especially on a car board.

No i didnt think i would win cmon i know my cars. It was a gallardo lp 560-4.

Yes im glad i left off at 120 it felt horrible. I dont street race, just thought it would be

fun to chase that lambo, then again what was i thinking. Wont do it again. By the way i

was by myself and i would not do it with anyone in the car but me, which is not an

exuse, and i do regret it. So i wont do it anymore ima go to the track. Ps im sure youve done other harder stupid

things than I have lol.

As for the shaking ima try to see if the wheels are properly balanced first, but thanks for the advice.

Update: The shaking went away when I drove with my new tires that were recently installed yesterday. Yes =). No more high speed vibrations =).

When I first checked it I was going 90 and the car felt like it was going to fall apart lol, and that was with my old HX MXM4 michelin tires. Now at 130+ no hesitation at all with my new Kumho ecsta 4X. What a difference =). Tax money at its best use.

I think you should continue to hit 120mph in traffic everyday and see if the issue goes away. I bet it will.

But forreal, new tires make EVERYTHING better.

guess its a touchy subject but the only people out here getting hurt by racers are themselves. nobody else is usually on a limited access freeway in the middle of the night

Hahaha nope I want to live. This was on a long stretched road of emptiness, would never want to put no ones life in danger, especially mines.

Tell me about it, my car feels so good. It used to shake the whole interior, now the interior doesn't rattle anymore =D. All this time I thought it was the tie rods or driveshaft. Talk bout pain in the ***.

Im the slowest f-body driver you can find trust me lol. Usually Im driving 65mph with cruise control on on the last lane and I still get people tailgating me.

All it was, was a test to seem if my vibrations where gone. I know all it takes is just one error and its all over. Overall Im glad Im alive and no ones hurt. Wont need to do no more testing. Back to grandma driving =).

Wierd I seen this, I raced a foxbody on the expressway tonight and my car was vibrating like crazy when I shut it down. Ive had the car a few weeks and didnt notice it before but never had it faster than 65-70. Its set up for auto-x, 43k miles, new suspension, tires, moog front end bushings, ls1 driveshaft, etc. No reason for it to be vibrating. I was wondering wtf it was, glad Im not the only one.

Nope rotors are fine. If that was the case the car would shake when you press the brakes only.
