Okay ive driven both an ls1 and a lt1 ....i own an lt1 love the thing even when it acts up(which is rare) but ls1 is a faster car but i personally love the torquey feeling of the lt1 and cmon if it wasnt for lt1 ls1 wouldnt be here so think about it like this both same car just one more evolved 
that is all doesnt mean you cant make one faster than the other

LS1 in truck vs LT1 in car...sorry LS1 does have headers, so its an unfair race, LS1 also has another 800lbs, both had stock 4l60e's stock converters, truck had 31in mud tires

guess i need to get some vid of me spanking the 35thanniv that lives in my neighborhood on a regular basis
does that mean i think ls1 are junk,,hell no it doesnt id love to have his car its sweet,,but for right now when we race i kick his *** for what ever reason you want to come up with,,and i barely have a few bolt ons and still have the stock original plugs and wires

And the camaro lost because it was LT1, just stating a fact, if it were a ls1 car it would be my truck, but the lt cannot.

and actually i doubt ill ever have video since im never gonna be riding around with a video guy in my passenger seat,its just a spontanious thing we do when we happen to meet up leaving the neighborhood,im not a young man like some of you guys with the whole street racing thing.

It's not about how fast AC, but how reliable. With all the time, money and countless hours you've dumped into that bucket of yours you should be in the single digits by now.
