Default Whats needed to run e85?

What do you need to run e85 other than injectors and a tune? Any part numbers or links would be greatly appreciated as well.

The motor is going to be a 383 forged internals with heads and cam with around 12:1 compression. Motor should make around 400-425whp. Car is an A4 and will be getting a Yank SS3600 and has 3.23 gears.

Why are you running dual fuel pumps? Is that needed for all e85 setups or just yours because of the N20 or power level your going to be at?

Exactly, I run a twin setup, one for motor and the other comes on when the nitrous is armed.

I run a quality filter, 42lb injeectors and 2 walbro 255, one for motor one for nitrous. And a good tune by someone who knows what they are doing.

What size injectors do you think i would need for e85 to support up to 500hp to be safe. I was going to run 42lb injectors on regular gas would they be to small for the e85? Also would i need to run bigger fuel lines? Also racetronix claims that with their pump booster you can run up to 700hp on the walbro. Is anybody doing this and is it RELIABLE?

I would use 60# injectors if I were you.

The walbro will NOT support 700 on E85. Its done at 600 on gas and it takes approx 30% more volume of E85...

My buddies brand new walbro with hotwire kit was DONE at 589 HPon the dyno on gas... that's 450 max on e85 like wicked stated.

The car will be tuned at Speed Inc and I will see what Larry suggests for injectors. What brand injectors are you running? I believe the Bosch are e85 safe.

This may sound like a stupid noob question, but for you guys running E85 once you are setup to run E85 is this the only fuel you can run? There are not an abundance of E85 pumps in my area and was wondering. I assume you cannot run regular premium fuel once setup for E85?

I would be interested in your 60# injectors if I can find somebody to tune my car. Also any other ideas for a fuel pump besides the a1000 and dual walbros. I will only need to be able to support 500hp on e85.

Don't know why you don't want dual walbros. They work fine and it's probably the least expensive solution.
