I didn't realize flow and performance could be judged from a picture of the outside of the port. It must be becoming true that hogged out ports are what makes power, right? I mean that inner radius from those pics are crap, right? You really need to get into the business so you can show all these other head porting rock stars what's up. From the outside they look like they have more done to them than the LPE heads on my car right now. Wanna race?

I am not getting those heads im getting a pair of used LE2's..... and my budget is around 4k... im just sayin that i am gettting it done for 2.5........

Who is putting you down? I just stated my opinion. I am personally not a fan of a build built entirely out of used parts. You could be inheriting other peoples' problems. If something is wrong, at least with new stuff you'd be able to rule out the parts being the problem (for the most part). With used stuff, you're taking a chance. I understand budget is a concern, believe me. But in the chance that something breaks you're going to spend more in the long run.

no one is putting you down. All you are getting is from people that have spent money doing this type of mod and more than one is telling you this stuff will cost more if not done right...

so all the advice is about planning correctly, buying right and not putting all your eggs in one basket thinking you'll spend 2500 and have a 400rwhp reliable beast for a long time to come.

Umm you can still see the casting lines where they "gasket matched" the runners, that and the fact that they only went in about 1 inch gave me a pretty good clue that there was no real port work done. Then again if your LPE heads look like that that explains why your car is a turd.

You've seen my heads and they have casting marks inside the ports. Just because you were caught in a retard moment doesn't mean you need to get all overly emotional and become a pretentious goon.

 

The only pic I saw of your heads was a .00002 megapixle pic from 1952.

So your heads were only gasket matched for the first inch? Hell scrap that, they weren't even gasket matched, all they did was scuff up the walls for the first inch.

 

Those heads you posted would rock your ******* face off. You are clueless how they would perform.
