9 sec convertible build thread!
9 sec convertible build thread! Well I figured Id start a thread with my build! Goal is to hit some 9's with the car! I have had the car for about 4-5 years and have played with it in many ways, and this time Im going to try and build the car to hit some nice 9's!
Here is pics of what we have did last weekend! My time is verry limmited to working on the car because of working to jobs! We have first started tubing the front core support as seen in pictures!

Custom made LT headlamp mount panels!
Still have a few more bars for bracing to put in but ran out of metal!

If Im not mistaken is your car the nasty 6spd car on youtube ive seen?? If so sweet car man Ive always liked it! as well as my plans or power, I have a solid roller 383 12.5/1 compression, LE3 Heads, Dart single plane intake, On the Juice... Rossler th350 on the brake.. I hope the setup carries me into the 9's!

sounds like if you can keep the weight down and get the power to the ground.......with the spray you should get it there..........what u looking at like a 200shot??

Verdad Gallardo Thanks Guys Im def going to keep this thread updated! I will post final pics of the cars front end, As far as engine bay I still have to weld all unused holes up, cut the cowl out, paint it, buff it, K member, A arns, etc... The front support still has to have lower radiator support bars to be put in, as well as 1 1/4 pipe to frame rails to be put it.... It was def not as hard to do as it looks it took some ***** to cut the support out and all! But thanks guys!
