door hing pin So the hing pin on my drivers side door is gettiing real bad hell it locked my gf in the car last week cause she couldn't get the door open I'm wondering how hard they are to change and were to get one it a 93 z28
replacing the hinges is actualy an easy task... you remove the front fenders(about an hour or less) , take a painters stick and wrap it in painters tape till it fits tight across the bottom of the doors jam then in its vertical jam and tape them in place, take the painters tape and tape door in place use 3 layers of tape on each band from roof to about the middle of door do 3 seperate bands tripled up ...and remove old hinges and replace one at a time...
I recently put vertical door hinges on my ride but the replacement for you will be the same only u will replace with stock hinges

I like it but who the hell am I? I don't have it on my own car but that doesn't mean I haven't thought about it. I don't think I will go that route with my car but it is a cool idea, to each his own.
Oh yeah and back to what this thread was originally about, I can't say which is easier as I probably did it the hard way (as usual) but I replaced the pins and rollers for both sides. They cost me like $10 and I did them both in a couple hours in the driveway. I won't say they were a piece of cake but I really didn't think they were all that bad.

well this went from a help thread to bash thread i personal like the lambo look but i dont for see doing it to my car cause its going to be a track car plus the other thing is he spent the money on the car which means he could paint it purple with a big elephant on it if he wanted to and really if you dont got any advise and want to rag on some one that is trying to help then dont post in this thread also thanks for the help from the people that gave it
