Jeez man that sucks. I had that happen with a set of wires along time back, i believe they were MSD's.. The price point that the other wires come in make it well worth it if they work lol

x2 on Jegs 8mm here! They work great and came with wire seperaters and number markers for 40 bucks. There 8.5mm are a more but only came in yellow. They also came with the dielectric grease.

I'll second the Taylor OTVCs being junk. Their overly soft jacketing started to crack and split after a year, then started leaking spark.

i ran a set of msd's and i had bad luck with them........i built myself a set of moroso ultra 40 sleeved 11.5mm wires and man were those things sickkk!!!! they work great and are virtually indistructable...........i got them for sale if anybody is interested too.......i dont need them anymore cause i dont have the opti anymore.......you cant buy them as a set all built you have to piece them together and build em ur self.....but i got a set already done and ready to go...

With this talk of going through the motor mount on the driver side i went out and rerouted mine. Tried through the mount but still didnt give the clearance i felt comfortable with so figured out a way to use some plastic wire loom clips i no longer needed(out of zip ties) and got everything tucked up and away from the headers, steering shaft and the block

I dont know, but I currently still using that atm, the preview owner install it 1 year before he sold the car to me, and i had it since july 2010, til now still work fine.
