Check your fuel pressure using a test gauge. Sounds fuel-related.

You can test the regulator by pulling the vacuum line off of it IIRC.

Sound like fuel pump, or clog fuel filter. I do change the fuel filter first, it cheap and easy.

Fuel filter is easiest and cheapest, Also is your battery good ? A battery getting low can cause this as well. It has to have a certain amount of AMPs to get it started. If it turns out to be the FPR make sure when you replace it to clean your fuel rails while your in there

I agree with everyone above. Another vote here for a fuel related problem. How many miles on the car?

Had the same exact problem. A walbro 255lph fixed it. only took about an hour but you'll need something to cut sheet metal with and some cheap sheet metal and sheet metal screws to close it up.

+1 on the trap door method for fuel pump replacement. If you buy a pump I highly recommend a Walbro 255LPH. Make sure that the company your buying from is legitimate however, theres alot of knockoffs. I bought mine from TRE (The Racers Edge) Performance on ebay.

There is another thread open that cleared that up, The knock offs never made it to the market
