Thats Barry for you What he doesnt realize is if you cant afford gas how the hell can you afford a car payment and higher insurance rates ( full coverage) . Barry is completely out of touch with the country

My Camaro gets about 13-15 mpgs. I picked up a 01 Kia rio for $400 bucks. Did small stuff and still at under 700 total including car. 30mpgs saves me quite a bit. There's deals out there and besides, less wear and tear on your fbody. Mine looks like hell after DDing it for like 3 years.

That's $5.50 US per gallon after all the math is done. And it's certainly gone up a bit since the other week.

It's coming, guys...

Ehh, I burn up about 14 gallons a week. When it takes over $100 a week for me to work and cruise Ill start complaining. Everyone should have known it was going to happen. I mean the only reason gas went back down was the recession. I had a VW rail buggy I was gonna change over to propane but never did. Kinda wish I still had it.

On a more serious note...
Still cheap as hell compared to the rest of the world.

Most places in Europe have been paying over $10 USD a gallon for at least a decade. We have it REAL good over hear, and thats not just on gas. Daily goods like eggs, bread, milk, and meats are at least TWICE what we pay over here in a lot of the rest of the world...with the citizens making lower average yearly wages as well.

I'm sure some members in the UK or France would laugh in our faces for complaining about $4 a gallon gas when they pay literally three times as much.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side...

oh boy.....You think i dont know that????? Hmm... maybe i should rethink my schooling in poli sci???? All of the other products it effects though oil, products like OIL antifreeze ect take 3 steps up and 1 step down when prices of crude come back down. Now as for goods that travel, which is everything in the country and out of it for that matter are directly related. For my job i work in the electrical sales industry, trust me i understand the effects of this **** on every level. Copper is fucked, so are all the coatings that go on it(made from oil products) on another note, it makes building expenses so high that its hard to get the econemy rolling again. Its all a giant cluster ****.

Sorry for the rant, what i was getting at is you have to pay it one way or another, if you want to bitch about it, get into politics and change it.

1.49/L here from another Toronto, Canada guy... about 5.50/g with the conversion roughly. Its going up fast so might aswell be happy its not the price of ours yet. I know when i went down to Michigan last year and filled up my truck to head back over it just over half the cost to fill it up back here Im sure nows its alot closer to same cost.
