Gas prices are so expensive in socialist Europe because someone needs to pay for great health care system over there.
What i want to know is why you can still buy a low grade quart of oil at a gas station for a little over two dollars and gas here in california is well over 4.00?
There is no lack of oil. Its all about greed and money. Fat unions and the EPA controlling business. We need to flush liberalism out of our country and fire these bums.

as if liberalism was the problem.....last I recall conserves voted the chimp(u know who that is I am sure)....and once could of been forgiven altho he cheated thanks to lil brother's state....but 2nd time? please...what u need to do is liberate your brain from both parties then realize the liberalists do the most ppl and in general the country better. Im sorry to say but your sadly misinformed, study up and get back with us. WE. Here in the united states have are own oil we could be drill, but because of the LIBERALS and THE BIG33 we are forced not to. Obama has nothing to do with this although he is running are country straight into the ground in other regaurds. Obama is mearly a puppet on 60 percent of the issues at hand.

Do you find that funny too? That many decades of marine life and an ecosystem be destroyed in the name of an energy source that could have and should have been replaced long ago?

An engine like the LS platform should have debut 15-20 yrs ago. Not at the deathbed of 4th gen F bodies. But we were too busy not giving a damm about and continue to buy and so therefore they saw no need to improve the small block design until it was too late. (how long was the lil 327 casting ran for all the way up into the late 90's?) whats that over 40yrs of service..? fugg yea they made a profit. No one ever demanded more of them....until they lost market share to foreigners....a market share they well deserve since our homegrown. Did not care to address or mind anything other than more capitol.
You blame the big 3...yet no one demanded better of them?
The big 3 won't create better economy until they are forced to....and one way of that is by NOT resolving fuel cost for them as easily as drilling here at home base.

The spelling is correct (except for mabe), but I see terrible grammar in both posts.
dont seem that bad to me, grammatically speaking.... not that great of a speller either
And on a random note, europe also gets all the small diesel cars gettin 50mpg. For reasons i dont know, we dont get those. While ill never give up my 4wheel drive, itd be nice to have one of those little fellows to putt putt around in. just my 2cents

I remember paying over $1.50/L when I was in college for 87 octane in 2005...don't remember what premium was at, probably closer to $2/L
