I know we all love GM however, he saved jobs that should not of have been saved. Capitalism is simple. Read about Adam Smith the father of Capitalism. Basically, he believed about the "invisible hand" controlling business. Which is competition, if somebody else makes a better product than you, your out of business Period. It controls price, everything. Its these principles that made our country great a long time ago. American cars, or any american product for that matter, is highly sought after in other countries. When you wash this down with your socialist ideas you get what we have now. Mediocrity, in our school systems and all thru out our country. Face the music man. Your ideas can never work. lol.
