Im thinking about rocking a scooter this summer. I live in a college town so when all the students go back home from UGA I can probably get a 50cc scooter for around 300 bucks. Ill get about 75mpg at around 30-40mph. Also dont have to have a tag or insurance. I can save the car for longer trips and use the moped to go to restaurants and to my job. Yes, a real bike would be better, but I cant afford a bike payment and another insurance payment.

Now that all those people have reached there retirement never planned for everything are sucking our Social Security dry. Like truly how long would it take to go through all that? We are in 2011 and still nothing in sight of something to take over crude oil? sounds fishy to me Politicians and stuff have money invested in such things as oil and they make money off of raised gas prices they don't give 2 ***** about what this country is going to as long as they are okay then its okay to them.

The spill was not his fault at all. I was saying that about BP and how they need to leave. But it will never happen. to much money involved and to many ignorant people. Sorry, but when he is the front runner on the health care bill and the dem passed it with most of the country telling them not to and they said they were going to anyway because they know best, that makes me a little angry.

The $4 gallon of gas did destroy our economy, but us going into a recession didn't MAKE the gas prices drop, us not buying as much fuel did.

$4 a gallon makes you/me/everyone else not want to go to the store and buy goods/services. That is what did us in.

should we have done the bailouts? heck no.. let them go into bankruptcy like every other business would have to in this country.

BTW its $3.7* a gallon for reg here. and like $4.0* a gallon for prem.

 

Gas will easily hit $5 by the end of summer. Want someone to blame? Here is a list:

These 3 companies are responsible for $45 of the $107 it is now. Speculation has driven oil, and not to mention other commodities, through the roof. Foreign companies are buying oil in our market because the dollar is cheap and they can get more ‘bang for their buck’. These three companies are acting as middle men. Futures pricing is at a all time high on wall street because they have collapsed the financial sector and need to make up the difference. So our commodities are next on the list.

This isn’t a con vs. lib argument. It’s big business vs. the people arguement.
