Default 93 z28 Bad Computer

Got a 93 Z28. installed new trans Ran good for a week. then lost 3rd and 4th. the one i just took out had the same problem. No fluid leaks, tv cable is correct. could it be possible the computer isnt sending power to the lockup connector.

Hopefully you have a warranty.

Ima go test the plug with a meter tomorrow. I was driving like 15 miles to work all week and it was fine. but went about 30 and then halfway back it gave out. if i turn the key on should the plug have power.

The plug has nothing to do with the 3/4 clutch pack and you won't get a signal until the correct speed is reached that is programmed to lock the tcc.

If the key is on you should have power. The brake switch should interrupt the power. I've heard of people running without the plug being connected, but will it harm the trans? I can't answer that.
