Borla will sound better IMO. but I hate the borla tips. Both are good choices. The magnaflow is usually quieter

I love both magnaflow was quieter on my 95 and my borla had the middle size opening on the passenger side exit.

I love my borla setup with the e-cutout in the right tail pipe. My buddy had a magnaflow and it was alot quieter. I agree above the borla tips look like *** i wish mine didnt have the dual pipe on the left so i could cut and fab new ones on easily.

Borla FTW!

not really sure how the magnaflow would sound, but I'm not really of fan of the borla sound or tips with LT's and no cats...my 2 cents...go magnaflow.

Another vote for Borla. Dump the exhaust and mount whatever tips you want

The borla on my old trans am was the best/loudest i've had.

I actually want to know what's the best cat back for a mild tone with LT's, nothing that's going to be crazy loud, just mean sounding. Opinions? I was thinking magnaflow, or a flowmaster 80 series (LOL ) but then i'd have a really restrictive exhaust =/

Borla with E-cut out. or magnaflow with an E-cutout you can't go wrong. I have the borla with an E cutout and I love it. I have LT's with no cats on an off road Y and I get zero rasp with the cut out closed. I can bump the cut out open a tad and still get no rasp and a real agressive tone or I can open it be as loud as I wana be.

i've got the same setup, paceseter lt's and y pipe and magnaflow. I absolutely love it. It's not too obnoxious at all. at idle its got a nice rumble wot it sounds amazing! I've heard a borla just briefly years ago. Not long enough to really make an opinion. But the magnaflow sounds GOOD! If ya don't do that, i'd maybe look into gmmg chambered. x2 ^^ on the cutout. Definitely putting one in when the 383 goes in, in a couple of months!
