runs for a few seconds and dies. im thinking opti but i wanna see if anyone else has any ideas. its got an msd opti, been on for almost a year of daily driving. runs for a few seconds perfectly fine, tons of power but starting running like *** and dies. im gonna try checkin fuel pressure, icm, and map. any other ideas?
also, went to mexico last night and missed 4th (idk how, dont ask) and is sounded like i bounced off the rev limiter. but my rev limiter was disabled. i think i was just hitting the pcms rev limit. could this cause any damage? ran fine all the way home and even got another run since then. it just started this morning when i fired it up to go to work

Literally a few seconds like 1,2,3,dead? I swapped a **** load of opti's, coils, stuff like that when mine did this turned out to be my ghetto wiring that goes to the icm/coil. Next time it starts try poking those wires and see if it dies. Btw, do you mean mexico mexico or miami's mexico?
im at work so i sent a buddy home with my spare icm. said it ran for 15 minutes with no problems. it got up to operating temp and was still fim. looks like that did the trick

I only use mobile hence why I ask. The reason I ask is cause there's a spot down here called mexico were people often miss gears aka racing. So its not that strange of a question to simply answer.
