Is the car a stick or an auto? The NT05 drag radials seem to work alot better on an auto car than a stick car. My buddies both have 6-speed fbodies and one has NT-05's and the other has NT555's (both drag radials). The one with the NT05's doesn't hook on the street but the other one hooks awesome. A bunch of us drove them both back to back and all came to the same conclusion. I have seen some awesome 60's at the track with the NT05's though.

Yeah, I'm guessing he'd want the better tire for the street since it's a daily driver.
