Ya I was leaving at 4500 it just needed way more RPM to get the 355 moving and I didnt have time to dial it in. I did however get it in better air and leaving at 5k though it still had issues it was back into the 11s@118.

PS..Besides spray It will also have a Th350/383 so no more worries, oh and its on a DR again, also put in some AFCO rear shocks, the new 383s TQ will help to get the pig moving also.

So SS RRR now that you can see my LE2 353 ran JUST as good(working like ****) as a working 383 LINGENFELTER motor on the same day, what do you think?
Fact is I changed so much on my set up we will never know if I dialed it in what would have happened. It went 11.6@119.8. on stock suspension. Since then I have not had one clean pass and even that one sucked.
Oh BTW dont you have LINGENFELTER heads on your SR 396.378574576 that has NEVER cracked 10s and 60ft way better than I ever have?? Kinda pissed me off your sayin Im full of **** and even searched, then came up with the WRONG CAR.

this made me seriously crack up when i read through this and he took all the time to look up videos. You must mean a lot to SS RRR Chot for him to do all that hard research. Come on SS RRR we all know you have to cite your sources when doing such research

Oh don't get yourself worked up in a tizzy now like your boy Grumpy Pants Greg. I know nothing of the LPE car so it's hard to say. If it were a complete LPE car with the 211 cam running full weight with cats in place to where it could pass a sniffer test then yes those times are not far off. I think ABA's LPE 383 car was in the high 11's, but don't remember if it had complete stock exhaust. I ran 12.6 @ 110 with my LPE setup, Edelbrock shorty 1 5/8" headers with stock y-pipe and cats in place. Put Hooker LT's and ORY on and ran 12.0 @ 115 in good weather and 12.2's at 114 in the heat.
As I said, get your **** squared away, stop with all the excuses as to why it doesn't run right and prove why you should be a shining LE example. As of now you aren't and there have been numerous posts as to why. Especially with how much money and parts you've dumped into that thing with nothing to show for it. I'm just surprised you didn't borrow a smaller tire while at the shootout to see what it would do...

P.S. The links were PM'd to me. I would have never done that kind of research. Oh, and, could you be a dear and post up or at least link up the dyno graphs between the two cams?

I will say this, Mike never took the time to dial his car in right because he keeps buying things for it and changing stuff. I think Mike's car would have been a fine example of a good running LE setup if he would have taken more time to get his car to hook properly. My car is not the best running setup either but all I focus on now is getting the car to sixty as hard as I can and the rest will all work it's self out.

Everyone knows where Ill be in Sept. He is more than welcome to come on down to the shootout to race and see my car in person.
Jeff is absolutely correct, my car never got dialed in since Im working towards a end goal and keep changing stuff. As for borrowing a tire, there is not enough time to get extra runs in during the shootout so it didnt even cross my mind. It was the first time the car was at the track all year and I was trying to figure it out.

Which is why your car is not a good example for Gumpy Pant's tirade and have said over and over again- get your **** squared away and then represent instead of listing excuses. If I were interested in a LE product I would want to see good results. Not bad ones attached with a story.
The panties twisted over mere opinion is amazing.

FWIW, I put down 379 RWHP last time on the dyno with Hotcam and LE2 H/I. Longtubes w/ Random Tech dual cats, open cutout, Vig 3600, HD steel shaft, Moser 12-bolt, 28" radials.
