So I removed the canister. I see three lines? I guess I was expecting to see two, one in, one out to the front. I always here people put a filter on? What does this filter look like or does anyone have a part number? Which line do I put this filter on?

I tried a search, hell if that made anything clearer.

You place the filter on the hose coming from the tank to the canister; cutting the hose right before the canister and installing the filter at the cut I believe. From what I read, most people just get a standard filter from the parts store that will plug into the line, and secure it with a hose clamp. The filter is supose to stop any debri from getting into your tank. I have not done this myself, but have been reading up on it for the future. The car will throw some codes too; so you may want to have the codes programmed out.
