build thread...good news
Just did a stock rebuild, new bearings through out, check roundness in rods, polished crank, plate honed cylinders,rings. Freeze galley ect plugs. even painted it black for me.( didn't even ask) Now for the good news. I was planning on running stock heads with my good springs, well....the stock heads needed a valve job..and my le2s were sitting there on the floor disassembled. The reason i wasnt going to use the le2s is because theyve been decked 3 times and the intake seat is about .002 from the deck. So i figured id save them for later and have the seats moved back,decked and new valves put in, well i decided to go ahead and have him start on that lastnight. So good new ill have LE2's to use for less money then i expected. Im having him cc the chambers i assuming theyre going to be pretty small.Pics coming tomorrow.

and the car pulls out really well! With 4.10's im sure itll be alot more responsive. I DD the car and no problems with the cam 97 Z28 M6

Id go with the bigger of the 2 your looking at, because once its in the block and its running, you arnt gonna want to take it back apart.
