Thank you for clarifying taner. I have no doubts that you have the fastest full weight 6-speed car.

You are definatly the front runner for times right now. The only thing would be now if there is a faster automatic full weight LT1 car, as automatics usually are the fast quarter mile cars.

^^^^ lol you forgot who you were talking to or who was actually the hand behind that shifter. Automatics are not always faster in all cases. It all depends on who is shifting. Ever seen videos of him shifting that beast??? Find one and watch it then tell me which is faster. I know my built 4L60 isn't

I've personally seen some talented drivers do some amazing things in the quarter mile driving sticks. But the simple facts are that auto's are generally the faster quarter mile cars out there. Now, taner may indeed have the fastest full weight lt1, but then again he may not. If his car was an auto, I would be les inclined to further my search to see if there may be a faster car out there.

My 94 A4 hardtop Formula was 3470 with a 1/2 tank of gas. Nothing, not even the spare and jack removed

When I think of full weight and nothing removed. I think his name is Jim from Speed Inc. Red TwinTurbo LT1 SS. I think he ran a mid 9 if memory serves me correct.

I know he did the standing mile in that car, but never heard of him doing those kinds of times at the track. Do you have a link to it?

now add subframe connectors, a Dana S60 w/ Locker, a 10 point roll cage and a 180lb driver and you've got a 3515lb boat lol
