Who has the fastest LT1 record for a full weight car?
So I am trying to find out what the fastest 1/4 mile that anyone has gone in a full weight LT1 (meaning full A/C, interior, ect.). I know most of the guys going that fast have yanked out a lot. But I am trying to find what the fastest 1/4 mile time for a full weighted LT1.
Anyone know?

Like I said in the original post, I need to find the fastest lt1 (f-body) quarter mile with nothing yanked out, to include the AC.
So far it sounds like 9.7 is the fastest that has been posted. Anyone know of a faster time? Or better yet, does anyone know what the a actual record is?

I am trying to find out because I have a buddy who has a full weight lt1 f-body who is wondering what time he would need to beat to be the fastest full weight. I know it may be hard to track, that's why I am asking if anyone knows.
I don't think Tanner is running AC.

it is Taner, lol!
car has gone 9.08 at over 155 mph at a tick under 3700 pounds. and mine is driven on the street. it is built for 91 octane. yes i do put better fuel in when spraying the crap out of it.
shouldn't matter if a/c is in the car. only thing that matters is is it driven? and what does it weigh? I have a 14pt moly cage in the car, a full width back braced 9" , lotsa good extra weight added, and some removed to offset it.
if all i cared about was et, i would have cranked the compression and dropped in a TH400.

You can't penalize a guy for having safety equipment, if some thing runs mid 9s with no cage at 140+, doesn't make it a "street car," makes it a death trap. We see that all the time down here, mid 9 second cars with zero saftey any thing because it's a "street car" still, wreck that bitch and your street car is a meat grinder.
Good thing we didn't make an attempt to spell your last name

I am not taking away from your time at all. Your quarter mile mile time is damn impressive. But I am trying to find the fastest quarter mile time from an lt1 f-body with no weight restriction done meaning it still has the factory AC, interior, ect. If yours still has the factory AC, then I am sure you probably have the fastest time. But for some reason I thought you had yanked your AC out.
