Fastest true lt1

Fastest true lt1
I am working on a project and was wondering what is the fastest true lt1 car. What I am talking about is lt1 t-body to lt1 oil pan. Stockcast heads, intake, optispark. No after market SBC heads or intake. I would like to know the fastest all motor and power adder.

Other than chassis/interrrior modification it makes perfect sense. Seems the OP wants to know what the fastest LT1 car is that is still using GM factory block, heads, intake and possibly exhaust(?), however just like the bolt-on controversy (some even consider cylinder heads a bolt-on), everyone has their own version of what this means.

The car can have whatever bolt on, cam, throttle body (lt1 style). It can be a 383 or a 389. The heads can be ported just as long as they are the stock casted heads the same thing goes for the intake. The reason I say this is because everyone is converting to traditional SBC heads and intake and are getting away from the optispark.

Ya, it's not like the NFL where they document every little detail so they can break records every game or talk about 'the first time ever'. "That's the first time ever where a running back wearing number 32 ran 28 yards to his right holding the ball in his left hand and was hit out of bounds by a defensive player wearing number 58 and his left foot hit the ground before his right. We just witnessed history, folks. Can you believe it." - NFL Announcer guy.
In other words, I don't think you're going to find the "record" that you're looking for. If you want to break a record, just put a random object on your passenger seat (let's go with an oreo) and go down the track. When you get your timeslip you can say, "I just broke the record for fastest LT1 with an oreo in the passenger seat".

It is people like this these last to punks that make blogs like this turn to s$?t. The hole reason I asked of this is because there are alot of supposed lt1 that are not really lt1. Not to trough Tony under the Bus, but to me he is not the fastest lt1. The only thing that is lt1 on his car is the block, which to me means that it is not truly a lt1. It is basically a traditional small block chevy. So for all the people on here that won't talk trash about and Lt1 post then start reading other post that pertaint to other things like football that this jerk above loves talking about. All I had was a simple question.

IMOP an LT1 car with an LT1 block no matter what is done to it is still an LT1.
The Gen II block has a few different features than a Gen I so that's why I believe T-sheps car is still the fastest LT1.
