Honestly, I unbolt my headers and force them out the way and get them from the top with a wrench. A alot easier then trying to snake my hands through places they will never fit.

It took me around three hours the first time to change them with headers. Its the 1/4 turns with a wrench and socket that take so long. 15 minutes to insert plugs, 165 minutes to tighten and route wires. Lol.

A short length of straight 3/8 gas line make getting them in a lot easier.

Have you guys never heard of ratcheting wrenches? Even without them you can thread the plugs in until they are snug by hand.

Speed! What are you doing!?!?! How dare you tell everyone the secret of ratcheting wrenches!!!!!!! Haha. That's what i used on mine, but its kinda like the old saying you gotta be smarter than the tool you're using to make it work and there have been a few folks on this sight that could break an open end wrench with their smarts if ya know what I mean. Lol.

If you have the stock manifolds I’d actually recommend swapping in a set of headers at the same time. It will only take a couple more hours than just changing the plugs/wires.

With headers and a tubular front crossmember I can change my plugs/wires in about an hour and can swap in a starter in about 10 minutes. Sometimes the race parts actually makes the car easier to work on believe it or not.

BTW: You cannot "drop" the engine. You will need to remove the motor mount bolt on the passenger side and raise that side of the engine a bit to get to the plugs on that side. Will save you a ton of time.
