Only way to tell is to send it off and have it mic'd. www.advancedinduction.com will do it for you, among others.

Well...let's weigh the options.

Option A: Take a gamble with an unknown camshaft with unknown numbers with visible damage and wear while using valvetrain components that may or may not work with it, and ending up with potentially disappointing HP/TQ/ET numbers, just to save a buck.

Option B: Spend the $$$ on a cam that you KNOW will deliver what you want, without risk, while facilitating the use of PROPER valvesprings and hardware, resulting in much better reliability and expected performance.

I agree with you fully!

In serious matters, I would spent the extra buck to get another cam. I personally decided to ditch the cc503 and get a custom grind and head work from lloyd elliot since I was afraid of being disappointed.

Also, its a lot better to only have to deal with it once!

I would suggest contacting lloyd elliot and he can suggest something. As I am going for a pretty choppy idle but mine is not an every day driver. Overall, it'll. Be worth you car sitting 2 weeks now and not have problems down the line.

There are a ton of off-the-shelf grinds that will fit your needs, most popularly the 503. Check the cam sticky at the top of the page and read thoroughly.

Far too big for a stock shortblock/stock heads. Take the advice given here already. That's what you asked for, right?
