Ok so i decided that I'm going with the 396 lt1 from Golen. Chad at Golen stands by his work and I'm fan of that....I will hope for the best when the motor is complete. So now I have decided that I want a weekend warrior car, but yet still be able to take it out on a nice day with my girl. I have a question about the exhaust. So I'm running hooker long tubes on this motor, note that these long tubes have no o2 bungs...what should I do? Should I run the long tubes back and have a true duel exhaust setup, or should I have a ORY, to a catless exhaust system (running slp loudmouth I ) now. also should I run O2 senors or just keep them off?

I would advise against it unless your cam is too much for the O2's to handle. In that case the only way to safely run w/out them is to have the car dyno tuned by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. Do you have emissions concerns where you live?
