When I had my alt in the factory spot I ran Cantons. There were expensive but look the cleanest in opinion and had all the factory grommet holes in it as well. I now have some moroso copies but went this route for fabbing purposes. I can weld AN fittings wherever I need them. Good luck hope you find some that you like. Oh and if you want to move the alt I have a Madman alternator relo kit I am about to sell. Let me know if your interested.

Hey quik95lt1 if you didn't want that alt peice you welded up to be seen you can put the passenger side on the driver side and driver on pass. You would just have to flip them around so your oil cap you welded would be in the front.

nah you cant because the cover is offset.........i could switch both sides and flip them around but then my vac pump fitting is on the wrong side......not to mention i had to clearance the inside of the covers to clear the jesel shaft setup which means everyone of my rockers would be hitting the covers...........its not worth it ill just deal with the staircase lol

I bought a pair of the tall, black GMPP/Proform covers, and "modded" them, like "Quick95" did to his e-bay covers. Unfortunately, the Proforms don't have any internal support ribs, and after a while, the heat from the engine starts to warp them, and they leak oil. So you "snug" the bolts, and they stop leaking oil for a couple of weeks, but the heat still continues to warp them, so you "snug" the bolts again, and they're good for another couple of weeks, and they leak oil again, so this time you remove them and throw them in the trash......
