Default V6 to V8 swap

Just finished up swapping my 94 lt1 into a 96 v6 car. When i try to start the car all i get is a little click under the passenger side of the dash. I checked voltages everywhere and it all looks good. I can ground the starter out and it will crank. Any help?

That happened to me and two wires were touching on the starter. Plus when I swapped to a 6 speed I forgot about the park/neutral safety switch that the autos have. Idk if that helps. It's got to be the wiring on the starter.

there's a starter relay under the passenger side kick panel that sometimes gets cranky/fails, I've also seen the plug that goes into the relay get loose and cause a similar issue. When you turn the ign to start power goes from the ign switch, to the relay, and then to the starter solenoid on the starter if I remember correctly.

i got it figured out. wires were touching on the starter. Next problem is the fuel pump does nothing. Is there a relay for the fuel pump anywhere?

The relay is under the drivers side kick panel on near the floor.

At the fuel pump relay connector i have voltage only on the red wire. I believe i should have voltage at the dark green/white wire with the key in the run position. Where can i get a wiring diagram for this?

So heres what i did to the harness to make it match up to the 96 but i am unsure if the v6 car's wiring is the same. I repinned c210, c100, c220 and added c100 into my existing 94 engine harness so things would match the 96 body harness. The problem is fuel pump relay won't kick on when i try to start the car.

There is a wire that comes from the PCM that needs to go to the Interior Connectors and it goes to that Relay.

Yup. On the LS Harness it'll be in the C-100 Connectors on the wheel well.

All my connectors are correct. Still nothing out of the fuel pump. This is frustrating

not to sound over simplistic, but is the IGN fuse in all the way?
