You are going to need more than 400+rwhp and 4.10 gears to run good at the track.

Need more info, tires, driver experience, weight of the car? But with that said a 4th gen with that kind of power should be trapping in 118mph range pending weather conditions. depending on your 60ft time it can go anywhere from mid 11's to low 12's

Congratulations, this post has zero relevance to this thread and made you look like an ***. Hope that's what you were going for.

That's what I was thinking too. I guess he doesn't consider high 11's to low 12's to be good track times.

Pretty sure he is using the OPs lack of info to be a smartass, but I could be wrong.

Well he's correct. You can't predict track times without a lot more information. Friend of mine had a completely stock car, added a Whipple charger and it slowed down because it would not hook up. Had lots more power but no traction.

I'd say somewhere between 11.50 and 13.9 depending on traction and driving skill. Go run it and let me know how close my guess is

400whp can hit tens. But that's with a good setup. 400whp can also hit 14s.

So there's my range.

That is exactly my point; we need more than just hp numbers to guess his track times. Internaly stock lt1 fbody cars have ran 11s.

I consider high 11's to be a shitty time, and I got so pissed that i just went and ordered a new procharger and a buncha other crap. Now im gonna run high 10's.

^If your buildind a car for the track try a built auto trans with a really nice converter. I would not say a 11sec car is slow, depending on what is done to the car it may or may not be a good time for that particular car.

Well, you took the commonly traveled road - just throw more money at it for more power. I'm sure it'll run the number now, automatically

With what it already is, why isn't it running low 11's/high 10's?

alright 410 gears and 400hp hmmm ok look if your not putting all your power to the floor you going very far traction has alot to do with your track time.....you can have a 600hp car but if you dont know how to launch it or handle it, its like having a double edged sword.

now for example the previous owner of my car woul run 14's all day i got the car learned its ups and down before i modded it and ran a 13.6,13.5, and my best was 13.4 meaning learn what you got play around with it, its also like my buddies srt10 truck yeah he has 500hp but he weighs alot more and only run 14's so remember kid hp aint everything

Wow you are a computer noob. You just put your post in the signature section. I don't care what the TB runs as it is not a race truck.............

No auto here, i've had it with them in sports cars. Only in cars under warranty i like em
