Daughters Surgery done.

I may get yelled at but I wanted to keep you guys up to date about my Daughter since several of you where willing to out of your way for me a few months ago. She had the surgery Monday and is going to be getting out of the ICU today and getting a regular room. Had a real ruff Monday as she had to have 4 units of blood given to her thought the surgery. She is now back on solid foods and doing very well. Little girl is tougher then her old man for sure. She was up and moving the day after the surgery. She actually requested to get up so Physical Therapy made a special trip up to let her do so. She got up out of bed and moved to a chair with limited help from anyone. Not bad for someone who just had there spine fused from T4 to L1. So damn proud of her right now. Sorry admin.

That's awesome glad to hear te gear news. And this is a good, full hearted off topic thread compared to others so... No worries. Let the good news keep coming for you and your family. I'm hoping for the same for my family currently.

Don't know the history and reason for the surgery, but either either way that is great news! Very glad to hear she is doing so well. Congrats and we wish you the best of luck!!

Very glad to hear that it's going well so far. I've found that kids are great teachers. Look forward to more good news about her recovery and progress. Let us know how things go...

I found out June 17th I'm gonna be a dad in mid-January. A whole new perspective on life is on the horizon, I think. My fiance is 40 and has 2 girls already. I thought they'd be my only kids and I was cool with that at 41. We find out tomorrow if it's a boy or girl. Can't wait...

That is great news!! It def changes your outlook when you have kids. Always tell my buddies when they have a child that you never realized how much you can love someone.
