Default Forged bottom end??

So I have my car for sale but i really just dont know if i can part with it.. Im thinking of pulling it and putting a full forged bottom end in it but keeping my top end of the engine the same as in sig...my question is can you guys give me a list of good parts i would need to do this??? i want to do all new gaskets and everything as well. Also should i do anything to the block or just leave it alone i.e. bore it or something along those lines...input and ideas welcom please.

i was thinking turbo set up and/or spray yes...nothing is wrong with my bottom end..the only with the problem with the car at all is that it drip a little oil from the rear main seal..but not enough to worry about and doesnt effect bottom end haha

Throw a 150 shot on that after you have the funds and means to build another motor.

Absolutely not. Uses cheap cast parts. If you're going to go forged, everything should be forged.

Your thread says "forged bottom end"..that is not forged. The cheapest all forged rotating assembly is a minimum of $1200 or so....plus another grand or more for all the machining. You might want to look for a fresh short-block in the classifieds or craigslist....that's what I did and saved some time and money.

Keep your stock crank and get. H beam rods and good pistons. Spraying a motor takes more than just putting a bottle on and riddin out. Fix the issues you have before trying to add power to it.
