Damn. Right out of the box! First of all welcome to tech! Some of the guys on the LT1 section can be a little rude. Although I dont have any experience with that cam I'm sure someone on here does.

Some of these guys could probably tell you everything you wanna know about your car or what you could do to get more power. I quit coming here and started using google or just asking questions in my state section. It always seems to be a little more laid back there.

The person your calling "Rude" knows probably just as much as anyone about these cars.
And bet you will use his site for your cam swap.....

I could go on for a while on who is rude and who is helpful on here. An yes shbox is a very good site to help with our cars. I'm just saying that it doesnt take much to try to help someone out. Rather than put them down for a lack of knowledge. I myself used to and still catch crap for not knowing something that someone else thinks I should know.

Anytime. I just got finished putting my motor back in my car. Waiting on a tune. It's not an easy task but I enjoyed every moment of my stroker build.

The 227 CMotorsports cam is an awesome stock shortblock cam that can go 11's NA in a daily driver. 227/233 @50, it's about as big as you want to go for a stock shortblock DD car.

When they were still in business they ground a bigger version of it for me - it is what is in my stock shortblock motor. With crappy local shop ported heads (and supporting mods) the car would drive an hour to the track, run 11.7's-11.9s all day, then drive back with the only changes being adjusting the rear tire pressure. Drove it back and forth to work for 2 years like that.

**edit** The first link posted has a post from me about it.

LOL, just trying to be helpful-not rude. New people might need some help on how to navigate the forum, ya' know? Did you ever think of that? Someone has to tell them. I guess it was not going to be you.

I actually have a CM cam in my car, but it's not the 227. If I could have helped (I did, in a way), I would have.

No clue, it was strictly NA.

Honestly nitrous doesn't care too much what cam you are running unless you are spraying a big 200-250+ shot.

Welcome aboard man! Not all of us will bash you for not knowing everything. After all isn't this what forums are for? This place is only good for a chuckle here and there and is mostly bench racing stories. Enjoy.

Don't take anything on tech too seriously. There is a wealth of knowledge and some really experienced guys on here but you will run into some haters.
