Need Help,LT1 Camaro won't start This is my father-in-law's car. Was mine but sold it to him. The car has been gone almost completely thru, doesn,t have many miles on it since that. It was running and starting fine and he ran some sea foam thru it and after he cut it off it hasn't started since. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I'd start by checking the coil and ICM (ignition control module) both commonly go bad and are relatively cheap to replace (also plugs and wires). First check spark, then check fuel pressure manually. Once all this is checked out and you still have issues, optispark is the next most likely culprit. Good luck!

gonna make sure the fuel press is good enough and check all the firing again to make sure i missed nothing. thanks and i'll let ya know what it is.

its most likely your opti or icm.. what brand coil did you go with? its starting to get colder out and ignition compoinents on these cars dont like that, if they are on the verge of failure..
I think you should swap the coil. When my ICM went bad it threw a code and started and ran fine.

its a stock coil i'm pretty sure, it actually done all this when it was warmer, prob a month or two ago i'm just now getting around to messing with. i'm gonna do another check on the fuel press and then i'm gonna check the firing again then prob replace the coil.
