where does this plug in at i cant find the other end anywhere.

maybe for an old car alarm or something? my car has all kinds of 90's technology in it... had a car phone at once...

Looking in the wiring diagrams... gonna take a quick guess while reading:

Does the fan for the A/C - heat work? Looks like it comes from behind the heat controls/ radio area above and right from the ALDL port.

Looks like the purple and orange wire, that i think plugs into the ignition switch. I know the starter has a purple wire like that.

car will not start engine and pedal assembly was remove by another owner and i was reassembling the car when i ran into this. seeing the purple and orange wires im fairly certain its ignition. the car is a 95 if anyone could look on theres and let me know where it goes id be ecstatic to figure it out.

It's for the defogger switch, but if you don't want to believe that, we can't make you.

My car is a '95 and it's still the rear defrost. Mine has been unplugged since the day the car left the factory (car didn't come with rear defrost) and the car starts fine.
