Default LS1 PCM swap Vs. Accel Gen 7 DFI

What would be the pros and cons of the LS1 PCM swap from EFI Connection Vs going with an Accel DFI Gen 7?

Right now I'm running LTCC which I've been very happy with but I'm looking to make tuning a little easier since I have a 93 where I have to keep burning chips. I've heard that HP Tuners makes tuning pretty "simple" with the LS1 PCM but I don't know anything about DFI.

Perhaps most important to your vehicle, the LS1 is compatible with the 1993 instrument cluster and air conditioning system.

One drawback to a stand alone system is that the included engine harness is not plug and play with your car.

That isn't true any longer. There are P&P efi systems out there now that piggy back right off the factory PCM for us 93 guys. Just got to know where to look and who to ask. And in some cases you have to do a little work but no more work than switching to a LS style pcm so the effort is the same in some regards.

Damn, that really is smooth as hell for an LT1 dyno.

They almost always get ripples on the top end, even with all brand new ignition parts.

I have heard really good things about the Holley EFI stuff but have never used it.
