Going with A JASPER 355
Its got 2k miles on it, big improvement from my 140k stock LT1..
Jasper says it comes with 333hp/375tq and Im already full bolt on's... So Im thinkin bout either going with the Hotcam kit or just gettin a cutom grind from L.E.
I would like to put down over 350rwhp with this cam only 355...

I had a Jasper reman in my 83 Z28. That 350 took all the abuse I threw at it.
You are buying a bottom of the barrel reman engine, I would sooner use a junkyard engine if looking for a performance base to build on.
The ONLY thing a company like Jasper has going for them is offering warranty on commuter car engines, I might consider them for a new engine in the wife;s car just to get warranty but never would I consider them for something I was going to tinker with and void the warranty or expect performance from.

......if i just wouldnt have started chasing the dog in it after i drank to many beers and forgot to turn the fans on.....itd probably still have the stock motor in it. Used to live closer, huh? I grew up in the grand metropolis of St. Anthony, about 10 miles from Jasper, along SR64 toward Clarksville.
