Ask him for receipts. A lot of people will tell you they built this and that and lie through their teeth. He should have receipts for those parts.

There is absolutely no way I would buy a "personally rebuilt" motor from a guy who types in all caps.

well to start off ive owned 6 of these cars, gathered some parts from some and sold some others..all the machine work was done at a local shop here in toledo, called shcorlings,i assembled the motor myself, bore is stock..so heres the scoop,i had a 94 t.a,that i needed some body parts for,i found one in lima.oh for descent price and bought5 it,,itdumonly had 80,000 some odd miles on it,had a slavage title, and ran like a cylinder was down which was this motor, one cylinder had around 80 psi,i tore the motor apart, had it boiled,80,000 and u could still see the hone marks,i know these motors,i had no need to bore this just wanted to freshen it up,so blockdumboiled, fresh cam bearings and soft plugs, had the stock crank polished, rods and pistons, were cleaned up,all newdumbearings, rings, and so on,c306 cam was around 300 alone, dont really want to sell with the heads that r on it because they r from my current 95 camaro, but i need room in my garage for the winter season, heads have been gasket ported, and redone also, springs good for up tp .550lift a.r.p rocker studs,1.6 roller tip rockers..this has been on a engine stand in my heated garage, for at least two years now,i still have tilte from car thatrs shows the 80,000

This is what he said

If it's what he says it is there's still no way I'd pay $1500 for it.
