Default Lowering springs???

Hey guys I got my camaro a few weeks ago and I'm looking to lower it. Any suggestions on what springs? Or go full suspension? Thanks

You will need a pan hard bar and an alignment at the least.

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=295 - Here's a BMR lowering kit.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-16/ - Search through here or start a thread and you should get a lot of good info.

Give us a call here at the shop, I am sure we can set you up with something that will be within your budget and exceed your expectations. Do a search for BMR springs and you can see the feedback we have gotten back from customers who have used our springs.

Cool thanks for the info guys. I was looking at the eibach sportline springs? But I now know I need more than just the springs. The bmr package sounds like a great deal might just go with that instead. Sorry I'm new with the camaros thanks for the info.

Spend the $$ on shocks first.

I've had the Eibach pro kit springs (1.5 in drop) since 1998 on my car...they are the perfect ride height, no too low but very little wheel gap. Best mod for the money as far as fun to drive mods go. I've since upgraded the shocks, all poly bushings and 35mm front 25mm rear solid sway bars. Now it handles like a slot car. Definitely upgrade your shocks if the car is high mileage or it will ride like ****. Big solid sway bars make a HUGE difference in handling; probably more than just the springs themselves...the springs do give you the added advantage of better looks/stance however. Best thing to do is do it all at once if you want upgraded handling...if more for looks, then just do springs/shocks.

+1

I did Eibach Springs and Koni Shocks at the same time. I wanted Strano Springs, but they were backordered about 2-3 months. Strano springs are about the same drop as eibach pro-kits, but they weigh less, which is better IMO.

Spend some $ on shocks, especially if you plan on keeping the car this way. Good shocks designed to work with lowering springs will cost extra $, but won't blow out early because of the lowering springs.

If you got the $, bigger sway bars are an awesome upgrade for handling.
