Default PCM for less tune vs Dyno Tune

So my 97 Z has a PCM for less tune. To make it quick I got a cam, ported polished milled heads, headers, upgraded valve train parts, typical bolt-ons etc. Just wondering if it would be worth the money to do a dyno tune to try and pick up some more HP over the PCM for less tune or if I will even get any more power.

Absolutely. I have a PCMforless mail order off the shelf tune, but nothing is going to beat going to the dyno and getting exact numbers.

I picked up close to 30rwhp with a dyno tune over a mail order.

From what I gather, it is always worth it to dyno tune your car. As long as the tuner is a good one, so do some research!

Make sure you can find someone for one, they are becoming scarce vs. mail order tuners.
