I got the tires and an 7AL-3 and power tower for the car. I'm trying to get a Tilton starter, but they are back ordered til august. Does anyone know where I can find one of these bad boys in stock?

edit: Taylor Engineering in Texas "had" one in stock.

Picked up the Hans device and a good helmet, going to start taking the car apart this weekend. My car in the signature is now totaled so we have 3 extra engines for the dragster. Probably going to put the Dart heads on the car and chuck the cam that's in the 396.

Bored kids out for the summer decided to stab some tires, cut the top and destroy the paint.

That stinks. Glad you weren't in an accident. I wouldn't call it totaled. There are alot of people who would love to have a convertible SS (or just a z28 for that matter) that only needed tires, paint, and a new top. It took me 2 years just to find a hood for my 97 SS.

I'm not going to part it out, but I am going to gut the car. I'm going to spend all my time on the 68 since I'm done with street cars for a little bit.

Looking good.

Sorry if I missed it, but you going to put some heads on it??? I don't see a Supervic helping any on a stock headed 385 unless you are spraying tons of Nitrous and want the better air distribution...

PS: I think your intake bolts are a *little* long
