Smile 1993 Firebird Lifting the Rear of the car 2 inches

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a 4th gen with a lifted rear end im considering doing it to mine while i have the rear end up and getting new gears... I was thinking of doing it like the old muscle cars with the jacked up rear end and big *** tires think it would be a interesting look on the car haha any help on how to do this like what Springs to use would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys!

The rear end of my old car sat higher and had a "raked" look. It had some sort of a lowering kit that let the front sit lower than the rear. If I did the heater hose mod it would have sat closer to level. It wasnt lifted though like you are talking about. I wouldnt do that.

Im just sick of everyone lowering everything haha i like the oldschool look with the jacked up *** end some big Drag Radials on the rear Definitly doing something with the rear even if its just lowering the front so it has that Raked look

Because the body extends so far past the front and rear wheels it would look hideous IMO.

old school look...arnt you raising the wrong part of the car? (gasser?)

I like the raked look, but lowered front, not raised rear to accomplish it.

There is so much wheel gap in the fender wells on these cars from the factory u could just lower the front with springs or a torch. IMO the extreme jacked up look is hideous please dont do it, but if u do post some pictures so we can all have a good laugh. So what is the heater hose mod??

Lowering springs in the front and air shocks in the rear. Don't tell me your going to go get 315's for a 15" wheel that stick out of the fenders though.

Please dont raise the rear. I prefer my car to sit level, but I do like the raked look on other cars. That being said, the only way I would go for that look would be lowering the front. I think that will get you the look you want without the ghetto fabulous or redneck engineered additions.

I ran a 28" tire and it gave it a slightly raked stance. If you want more than that, lower the front too.

Just get from lowering springs and/or adjustable coil overs.

im not thinking of jacking it up that much haha and would never use spacers lol im thinking of maybe like stuffing a 30 inch tire in the rear with stock fronts and not like 18 inches wide, just as much as i can fit in the fender
